DESIGN CONCEPT
Elegant and Profound Modern Expression, Subtly Refining Luxurious Classics
The homeowner, a medical professional, places great emphasis on quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the space. We tailored the design to reflect the homeowner’s personality and lifestyle needs, using a modern luxury style to create a calm and refined ambiance that embodies the homeowner’s elegant temperament and vision of a contemporary, understated luxury residence. Inspired by tasteful design, the combination of diverse materials balances spatial hierarchy, radiating a light luxury fashion aura and presenting a space with exquisite texture and sophistication.
Smooth circulation and comprehensive functions throughout the space ensure that every corner is logical and perfectly balanced. The entryway features a partition cabinet with an open design both above and below, achieving visual transparency on top while maintaining openness at the bottom to allow natural light to flow into the entrance area. The entryway is adorned with luxurious stone, dark wood veneer, and titanium-plated metal accents, introducing a modern and understatedly luxurious atmosphere.
The public living room and study areas are defined by a half-height partition with dark wood grain, providing the sofa with a solid backing and addressing Feng Shui concerns. The large beam above the desk remains exposed and is cleverly used as part of the ceiling lighting design. To enhance the spatial sense of extension, the upper edge of the floor-to-ceiling windows features a curved detail wrapped in dark wood grain. The combination of linear lighting and reflective surfaces doubles the visual sense of depth and extension.
The bedroom design continues the calm and serene atmosphere. Based on the homeowner’s taste in colors, imported wallpaper is selected to decorate the TV wall and the headboard panel doors. Sliding doors conceal large windows, blocking light to create a peaceful environment for restful sleep.
